Organic Sweetness
Organic Sweetness is a 36 page interactive book, that dives into the organic and complex thinking of Dutch fashion designer, Iris van Herpen.
The way in which the designer allows for clothing to transform and come alive, is a result of her fascination with things outside of what is typically seen in the fashion industry, such as ever-evolving technology, living organisms and the natural environments that we are surrounded by everyday.
This publication also looks into Herpen’s decisions to collaborate with particular companies or individuals such as skydiver, Domitille Kiger or environmental organisation, Parley for the Oceans, for a number of collections. Another main focus of the book will be the complicated and unique techniques that were incorporated into the creation of the garments.
